ADAM HANDLER Where It All Began

Trium Art Gallery, in collaboration with NOH-ART Contemporary, presents Where It All Began, an artist residency with Adam Handler, taking place in Naples from June 8 to June 13, 2026, hosted by renowned contemporary art collector Ernesto Esposito.

The project unfolds as a return to a formative moment in the artist’s practice.

During his early years of training, a very young Adam Handler lived in Southern Italy, between Naples and the Amalfi Coast, where the study of life drawing and direct engagement with the cultural environment marked the beginning of his artistic research.

More than twenty years later, the residency reactivates this connection in a new form, bringing memory, experience, and language into dialogue.
Throughout the week, the artist will work at PuntoZero (Naples), a space curated by Valeria Apicella, which will function as an open studio by appointment for collectors, curators, critics, and members of the press.

The residency will conclude on Friday, June 12, 2026, with a public open studio, during which the artist’s working space will be freely accessible, offering direct insight into both the process and the works developed during the residency.
