ANGELI MURATORI

[…]

It is known that / somehow / they came across the fountain. / A sparkling liquid / gushed out.
/ They would gulp the stuff down / by instinct / with no understanding / and build temples / columns and arches / why / we don’t know / castles. / Okay / a refinery, a factory or a villa / a horse or a cloud / seem a natural consequence / which makes one think / «to create is to abandon» / eat eat eat / to forget / that papers / kill magicians too / and / make / the obvious / useless.

There is somebody / who is said / to have heard them mumble: / «a garage can become sacred: / if I eat / the sky opens and closes again / and here and now / the stuff dances / with me, with you, with them. / Can’t you see it is evident?!» / This is what / they heard them say / and also / «One must bite the clouds / just because / it is eats».

I think we can / therefore / agree / that the expression / «You can’t say formaggio without saying forma» / comes from this people / and that all the stories / we hear about them / are to be considered / facts. / Basically / well / there is no need to go on about it / it was a land of mad builder saints.
