Vincenzo Zancana (Salemi, 1991) studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Palermo and later at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan. Following an artist residency at Escola Massana in Barcelona in 2016, he completed a Master in Printmaking at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp. His work has been featured in Opera, an art magazine curated by Attiva Cultural Project, and in REPLICA, the Italian archive of artist’s books. He was a finalist for the ORA Prize (2017), the Nocivelli Prize (10th and 11th editions), and Biennolo – Unimaginable Landscapes (2020). Since 2018, he has been the co-founder of Chárōn, an environmental art project exhibited at Spazio SERRA (Milan, 2018) and Kunstschau Contemporary Space (Lecce, 2021). In 2020, he took part in an artist residency at VIR – Via Farini in Residence in Milan. In 2021, he was invited to participate in VuotoApparente, a widespread exhibition across several Milanese theaters, where he presented his work at Teatro degli Arcimboldi. In 2022, in collaboration with Artsted, he opened his solo exhibition Collective Aesthetics: ATOMU(M) at the Scalo Lambrate venue. He is currently based in Milan, working at the TRETRE studio within ViaFarini.work.
