On the Lungarno, just south of Piazzale Michelangelo, Keil Space has already made a strong impression on the city of Florence, Italy. With its over 500 square meters, this futuristic venue stands out as a new kind of space, a fresh territory, in which we are introduced to artist Sam Keil’s work in a unique, avant-garde light. Her presence in Florence flows from a direct dialogue between her work and the Renaissance city. And yet, Keil Space distances itself from Florentine tradition, suggesting a new and distinct emotion in the perception of art.
