La generazione felice

La generazione felice (The happy generation) is Nazar Strelyaev-Nazarko’s second solo exhibition at Ncontemporary, continuing the path first initiated with Butterfly Hunt at the gallery’s space in Venice. The Ukrainian artist, who has lived in Milan for many years, pursues a painterly practice rooted in childhood memory and in its inevitably imperfect layering: not the sharpness of recollection, but what remains of it — a light, a gesture, the feeling of an afternoon that seemed as though it would never end.
