Napoli Gallery Weekend 2026

We are pleased to announce the third edition of Napoli Gallery Weekend, taking place from May 22 to 24, 2026 — an annual event that brings together the city’s leading galleries in a shared program of openings and special initiatives.
Participating galleries will offer local, national, and international audiences three days of coordinated openings, creating a citywide itinerary that spans Naples — from Chiaia to the historic center — fostering a dialogue between diverse artistic and curatorial practices.
The 2026 edition marks a particularly significant milestone in the development of Napoli Gallery Weekend: the establishment of the association of the organizing galleries. This important achievement, made possible by the direct commitment of the founding members — Acappella, Alfonso Artiaco, Andrea Ingenito Contemporary Art, Galleria Fonti, Gallerie Riunite, Galleria Tiziana Di Caro, Studio Trisorio, Umberto Di Marino — consolidates and formalizes the collective work initiated over the years, strengthening a shared long-term vision. NGW is, in fact, the result of a common will within a well-established, real, and tangible community — one that
is deeply rooted in the city’s fabric and in the contemporary art scene connected to it.
This new structure represents a decisive step toward building a stable and recognizable network, capable of promoting the city’s contemporary art system in a coordinated way and developing future projects on both a national and international scale.
The collaboration with contemporary art institutions in the area continues and is further strengthened; they will once again take part in the program with dedicated openings and guided tours. Particular attention will be given to welcoming guests and professionals from outside the city, for whom in-depth sessions and guided itineraries will be organized, with the aim of encouraging exchange and expanding networks.
Napoli Gallery Weekend thus reaffirms itself as a shared and constantly evolving platform, capable of activating synergies between galleries, institutions, and diverse audiences, contributing to strengthening the city’s role within the contemporary art landscape. This new edition renews a conscious perspective on the local scene: rooted in a significant history, yet oriented toward a future of consolidation, research, and collaboration.
