TECNO PERIPATETICUM

It’s the path where technology stops being a tool and becomes an organism.
The peripatos here isn’t just a physical walk. It’s the walk of hybridization: step by step, nature is rewritten by technique.
The artists in the show don’t “represent” nature: they contaminate it. They graft it with circuits, metals, algorithms, chemistry. The result is hybridization: forms that are neither natural nor artificial, but both.
Walking through the gallery, you cross this grey area together with the works of Michele Bazzoli (Born in 1996 in Italy, lives and works in Amsterdam, Netherlands), Esther Bruggink (Born in 1971 in the Netherlands, lives and works in Amsterdam, the Netherlands), Stefano Caimi (Born in 1991 in Italy, lives and works in Olgiate – LC, Italy), Stefano Serusi (Born in 1980 in Italy, lives and works in Alghero and Milano, Italy), Andrew Thornton Hick (Born in 1977 in Australia, lives and works in Perth, Western Australia) Leonardo Ulian (Born in 1974, Italy, lives and works in Italy and London, UK), Yuri Zupancic (Born in 1980, in USA, lives and works in Paris, France).
