FRENESIA VULCANICA

Antonio Mallus’s painting features apparent simplicity: a balance of colors, shapes, movements, and signs with a musical rhythm that moves the viewer’s feet to the ‘sound’ of the painting.
In each work, reiterated signs, heterogeneous colors, and pigments cover the “first” trace; placed at different times, with different energies and meanings, they mark spaces, lights, hours, days, months, and years.
