Circa

Circa is Marco Siciliano’s first institutional solo presentation in Germany, unfolding at the Kunstverein am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz during a moment of suspension. An off-program intervention between exhibitions, the project occupies a space that remains substantially untouched, unlit and formally undecided. The works are not didactic. Instead, the exhibition addresses the audience through questions, aiming to activate perceptions and prompt reflection.
The exhibition takes the threshold as both subject and condition: an uncertain space in which time loosens its grip and architecture temporarily softens. In this liminal moment—neither exhibition nor void—the Kunstverein appears less as a container of meaning than as a site of latencies. Siciliano’s interventions are deliberately ephemeral: site-specific and time-limited, they are defined and inflected by subtle shifts in light, attention and bodily awareness.
