‘Davanti a un gran bosco’ is Giorgia Mascitti’s solo show curated by Miriam di Francesco.
The exhibition takes inspiration from the Hänsel e Gretel fairy tale — in Tim Burton’s visionary rereading — to give shape to a symbolic space, suspended between the interior of a small bedroom and the unknown of the woods. An environment that is not only physical but mental, emotional, social. An invitation to stop on the threshold between what we know and what we fear, between what we remember and what we want to build.
