For her solo exhibition at DISPLAY, Danish artist Charlotte Thrane presents a new sculptural installation that draws on her ongoing exploration of material tactility and the relationship between body, object, and space. Developed specifically for the architectural conditions of the venue, the work centers around the use of discarded acrylic and fiberglass hot tubs—once symbols of domestic luxury, now relics of overproduction and ecological neglect.
