A Part Remains Outside: Regimes of Tactical Revelation

A Part Remains Outside: Regimes of Tactical Revelation explores the relationship between surveillance, technological mediation, and the politics of perception. In an age when detection and monitoring have become embedded in everyday infrastructures, the exhibition questions how technical systems determine what becomes visible, audible, and intelligible, and what remains beyond their reach.
Bringing together works by Federico Tansella and the collective 0_field (Artem Slesarev and Anastasia Pestinova), the exhibition investigates the boundaries between revelation and detection through video, sound installations, electromagnetic signals, and real-time data processing.
Through their respective practices, the artists explore the mechanisms through which information is captured, transmitted, and interpreted, questioning the apparent neutrality of technological perception and its promise of omniscience.
Curated by Giulia Moscheni and Anastasia Pestinova, the exhibition is part of the ArtVerona collateral programme and is presented with the patronage of the Municipality of Verona.
